Trash Each
year, Floridians produce between 25 and 30 million tons
of garbage. That means every man, woman, and child tosses
out about 7 pounds of trash per day. All of that garbage
must go somewhere, and some of the new methods for disposing
of refuse may surprise you. Premiered 2/11/02 on Florida
Crossroads, Producer Georgia Davis and Florida Public Radio's
Buzz Conover follow the garbage trail and to spend some
time Talking Trash.
